Partnership Meetings
Mentor meetings are two hour afternoon meetings that take place three times in an academic year for each subject. They are a vital part of the PGCE partnership between King’s and its partnership schools.
During these meetings King's PGCE Subject Directors will update schools' Subject Mentors on important developments in the PGCE programme and invite mentors to share strategies for addressing training issues. These meetings also provide an opportunity to discuss any issues, which may have arisen as part of you supporting King’s PGCE students.
The meetings are aimed at maintaining the quality of in-school training as well as meeting students’ entitlements and although they are intended for mentors currently supporting students, they may also be helpful for school staff concerned with future in-school training.
In addition to these meetings, we invite you to attend the
London Providers Mentor Training offered at King's in order to develop your expertise in mentoring.
