For those wishing to download the data associated with these visualisations, please be aware that there is a bug in versions of Google Earth after 4.0.2693 that make it difficult to download linked zip files. This bug is fixed in Google Earth version 5.0. The workaround if you cannot install version 5.0 is to right click the icon linking to the data tile and copy and paste the URL for the file you wish to download into a web browser.

The datasets listed below have been developed by members of the EED Research Group acting as project lead or collaborator. These databases serve static or dynamically updated downloadable datasets for use in a variety of geo-spatial applications. Much of the spatial data is visualised and downloadable through a Google Earth or Google Maps interface. Region-based network links are used so zoom in to your area of interest to visualise the data. Links are also provided for downloading the raw data in simple formats for use in GIS or remote sensing systems.
These are public domain environmental data aimed at improving the information (raw and visualised) available to the scientific and conservation communities. The data are freely accessible to all for non-commercial use.
Much of this data builds upon previous scientific efforts within and outside of the EED group. Collaborators and data providers are indicated for each dataset with the dataset. These data are provided free of charge but we kindly request that you cite the author in any publications or products arising from these data in acknowledgement of the significant effort required in producing them and bringing them to you. Further details on citation are given with each dataset.
Users are prohibited from any commercial, non-free resale, or redistribution. Kings College London also request reprints of any publications and notification of any redistributing efforts. Further details on are given with each dataset.
