Our undergraduate degree programme offers state-of-the-art modules in all geography disciplines. Our 320 students are taught by acknowledged leaders in their fields.
We currently have over 350 master's students from more than 30 countries, making us one of the largest and most international departments of Geography in the UK.
The department offers a tailored training and induction programme to our 130 students including three joint PhDs with National University of Singapore, University of Hong Kong and Humboldt University of Berlin.
Research activity in the department is supported by over £1 million in grant income each year from the UK Research Councils, UK government departments, charities, and the private sector.
