Professor Tony Edwards
Professor in Comparative HRM
Tony’s research centres on the management of workforces in multinational companies. Previously he has investigated the diffusion of employment practices across the workplaces of multinationals using a focus on national institutional frameworks and has written extensively on the subject of 'reverse diffusion'. Tony recently completed an ESRC-funded project which was the largest and most comprehensive survey of employment policy and practice among multinationals in the UK and a further CIPD study into the role of HR in international M&A situations.
