Professor Riccardo Peccei
Riccardo Peccei is a Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management and currently lectures on the MSc in Human Resource Management and Organisational Analysis. Professor Peccei is Director of the MSc in Human Resource Management and Organisational Analysis, and Chair of the Management Board of Human Relations.
Born in Turin, Italy, Riccardo received a B.A. in History from Harvard University and a B.Phil. and D.Phil. in Sociology from Oxford University. Before joining the Department of Management at King’s in 2000, he taught at the London School of Economics for nearly twenty years. He has also been a researcher in the Industrial Sociology Unit at Imperial College and a Senior Research Officer at the Tavistock Institute of Human Relations. He has been involved in a range of international research projects and has held a number of academic appointments outside of the UK. He is currently a Visiting Research Fellow in the Department of Human Resource Studies at Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
He has published widely in the fields of HRM and OB. His current research interests, within a multilevel perspective, are in the areas of HRM, employee well-being and organisational performance, the analysis of employment systems, organisational climate and service quality, employee voice and participation in the UK, and employee engagement and commitment at work.
