Cumberland Lodge Retreat

The Contemporary History weekend at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park will take place from Friday 16th  to Sunday 18th June, 2017. This is a chance for all Contemporary History and Politics & Contemporary History MA and PhD students to discuss their research, to hear from guest speakers and to enjoy spending time in beautiful surroundings. Our sessions will give you the opportunity to receive feedback on your research, as well as to learn more about MA and PhD preparation and dissertations from your peers. You will also have the chance to take part in some fun activities, including a walk in Great Windsor Park, a visit to the Royal Chapel and a quiz and movie night.

The weekend is subsidised by Cumberland Lodge and Contemporary History. The cost of the weekend is £100, which covers accommodation and meals. If you would like to be considered for a bursary that covers this cost, please email Megan Bissett megan.bissett@kcl.ac.uk.
