Visiting Fellows

Kenneth O. Morgan

Professor (Lord) Kenneth O. Morgan is Visiting Professor in the Institute of Contemporary British History.

He was formerly Fellow and Praelector in Modern History and Politics at Queen's College, Oxford, and Vice-Chancellor at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.

He has written many books on contemporary British political history, such as Labour in Power 1945 - 1951, The People's Peace, and Ages of Reform, as well as biographies of Lloyd George, Keir Hardie , James Callaghan, and Michael Foot. His Oxford Illustrated History of Britain has sold over 750,000 copies.

He is a working peer in the House of Lords, where he serves on the Select Committee on the Constitution.
