Dr Ruth Deyermond is co-convener of the Department of War Studies' Russian and Eurasian Security Research Group and author of Security and Sovereignty in the Former Soviet Union (Lynne Rienner, 2008). Her current research project is on the impact of US political values on post-Cold War US-Russia relations. .
