Biography
Dr Yousuf joined the department in September 2011 as a Teaching Fellow on the MA in Conflict, Security and Development. She completed an ESRC-funded PhD in War Studies from Kings College London in 2010 looking at strategic decision-making in peace processes, focusing on the cases of Northern Ireland, Israel/Palestine and Kashmir. This involved extensive ethnographic fieldwork in each of the regions. She has previously worked as a Research Associate at INCORE (International Conflict Research Institute) at the University of Ulster, and at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), Berlin.
