After having studied philosophy, Roman Catholic theology and Canon Law in Fulda (TheologischeFakultät Fulda, Germany), Oxford (Blackfriars) and Rome (Pontifical University of the Holy Cross), Sebastian holds a First Class MA in Theology.
He currently works as a visiting research associate at the Marjan Centre for the Study of Conflict & Conservation, Department of War Studies, examining the concept of conservation of resources as part of a new theory of just war.
Sebastian is a fellow of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung,a political foundation linked to the CDU (Christian Democratic Union), the major Conservative party in the German Federal Assembly and is currently training to become a Roman Catholic priest.
