War Studies Online Application guidelines

Accreditation for ICSC(A)

Applicants for the War Studies Online programme Air Power in the Modern World who have completed the Defence Studies component of the Intermediate Command and Staff Course - Air – ICSC(A) –  taught at the Defence Academy at Shrivenham, in the UK, may be eligible for accreditation.

King’s College London is able to offer 20 credits which can be applied towards any War Studies Online programme to applicants who have achieved a pass mark of at least 50 per cent in the ICSC(A) Foundation Phase essay.

ICSC(A) graduates who enter a programme with this accreditation must therefore complete only 160 further credits.

If you are claiming this accreditation, you must include in your application either a copy of the ICSC(A) Report proving that you have passed the Foundation Phase essay, or a copy of your certificate.

To claim the reduced fee for year 1 associated with this accreditation, you must also indicate your status as 'ICSC(A) student' in an email to Menisha Gor the Programme Co-ordinator (see the Fees page of this website).

Please refer to the Applying page of this website for instructions on applying.
