Description

The Department of Political Economy invites you to a seminar series led by Dr Harold Glass, Research Professor of Health Policy, University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

Harold E. Glass is Research Professor of Health Policy at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia where his teaching is chiefly in the areas of quantitative methods, health economics and new drug development. Professor Glass has published in a wide variety of health and business areas including most recently: why clinical investigators take part in clinical trials; the impact of clinical grant payment levels of clinical trial completion times; clinical grant payments to physicians and subsequent prescribing of the study drug. He is currently working on an analysis of minority participation in clinical trials and the subsequent effects on the relative rate of new medicine adoption.
