Postcards from Abroad
The 5 shortlisted photographs from the Breakfast Abroad photo competition are now on display in the Small Somerset Room at The Strand Campus. These images capture special moments that were experienced by our students whilst studying abroad.
Congratulations to Tom Hingley, Penelope Lowe, Valerio Pereno, Jason Sibbel and Dineth Sumathipala who make up the shortlist. The winning entry will be announced in March.
The Competition
To celebrate the success of Go Global Week 2011, the Study Abroad Office launched the Breakfast Abroad Twitter photo competition!
The competition was held to celebrate the essence and brilliance of being abroad, whether for study or good old, hedonistic fun. When we are away from home, each day is a new adventure and the shortlised entries highlight this.
Oh yes, and there was £150 prize money...
Eligibility
The competition was open to all current King's College London students following us on Twitter @BreakfastAbroad and entries had to be submitted through Twitter with the hashtag #BreakfastAbroad.
