Overseas qualifications and entry requirements
Undergraduate
To be eligible for consideration for undergraduate programmes, if international A-Levels or the Baccalaureate have not been taken, applicants must have completed a foundation year, or the Tecnólogo Especializado (3 years) or Técnico (2.5 years). For exact grade requirements for your desired degree programme, please go to the programme of interest in the undergraduate prospectus and contact the relevant admissions team.
Postgraduate
Applicants who hold a four year degree from a recognised university with a GPA of 3.9 out of 5.0 will be considered for entry onto our postgraduate programmes.
For postgraduate research programmes at King’s you are typically required to be studying for or have completed a master's degree from a recognised university and in a directly related subject in order to be eligible for entry (this is not always necessary in every case). We would recommend contacting a potential supervisor or research group in advance of applying.

English language requirements
King's accepts a number of different English language tests for entry onto our programmes of study with IELTS being the most common. English language requirements vary slightly from subject to subject. For a full list please refer to the undergraduate and graduate tables. Our British Council accredited English Language Centre also offers a range of pre-sessional, foundation and pre-master’s programmes should you need to improve your English in advance of your degree.

Undergraduate
King’s offers a variety of scholarships for international undergraduate students. This includes the King’s Scholars scheme which is for students who have already enrolled, rewarding academic merit. Postgraduate
Funding opportunities for students from Colombia at King’s include King’s Santander Scholarships and COLFUTURO Scholarships & Loans which offers a 20% reduction on tuition fees for all COLFUTURO students at Postgraduate level.

These include the King’s International Graduate Scholarships, King’s Overseas Research Students Awards, School of Law LLM Scholarships and many more. Your community in London
King's and London are home to a lively and sizeable Colombian and Latin American community. The King’s Hispanics Society organises and takes part in many cultural events and social activities throughout the year, whilst Latin American London provides information on fun, and free, things to do in the capital.
The Colombian Independence Day festival Colombianamente brings together the different Colombian communities living within London, explores Colombian contemporary identity and introduces a positive view of Colombia to the world. Europe's largest Latin American festival Carnaval del Pueblo, also takes place in South London every August, with music, dance, food and drink from across the continent.
For a taste of home, Colombian restaurants in London include La Bodeguita and Coma y Punto.
