Latin America Welcome Event

On 4 October 2011 we welcomed our new students from Latin America to King’s. The evening was a great success, with over 70 students attending. Students have come to King’s from all over the region, and on the evening we were able to welcome those from Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Argentina and Ecuador. Visit the International Student Support facebook page for useful info!If you are an offer-holder for King's and are planning to attend classes this Fall, we are pleased to pass on the details for our International Student Support office.

Situated at the Strand campus, our international student advisors offer free, one-to-one advice on a range of issues, including immigration, as well as running orientation events, talks and workshops throughout the year.

By visiting their facebook page you can find answers to frequently asked question, connect with fellow King's newcomers, ask questions to the team and view photos from past events held for international students. Further resources are also available from their King's webpages.

Experience King's competition winner in London

Experience King's competition winner, Isabel Abreu Braga, spent 10 action packed days in London. Her prize included:

  • International airfare to/from London; courtesy of the British Council Brazil
  •  Accommodation and breakfast; courtesy of International Student House;
  • Free London travel and a 6 day London Pass which allows free entry to 55 fantastic London attractions. Visit top museums and galleries, historic buildings and popular tourist sights; courtesy of  Study London.
