Educational Interest Group for e-Learning and Research (EIGER)
EIGER is the Educational Interest Group for e-Learning and Research. It is the community group within King's for discussing the use of e-learning.
Aims
EIGER was proposed at the Web Advisory Group meeting on 27 November 2003 and subsequently approved.
It aims to:

Share good pedagogical practice in e-learning;

Collaborate on research opportunities in e-learning;

Support and advise the College on the dissemination of its e-learning strategy;

Disseminate local e-Learning strategy endeavours in teaching and research;

Facilitate quality improvement.
Activities
The activities of the group include:

organising and attending research seminars;

collaborating on the preparation and publication of academic papers;

working on joint teaching and research proposals;

disseminating the group's research publications and teaching methods to the relevant college committees
