This area of the Learning & Teaching portal is dedicated to gathering the
people,
departments, academic
programmes and continuing
professional development (CPD) opportunities that contribute to enhancing teaching and the student learning experience.
In addition to these we outline the peer support process within the College, the annual Excellence in Teaching Conference and sources of pedagogic research. Collectively they offer comprehensive support for learning and teaching.
Annual Excellence in Teaching Conference
The conference offers an ideal opportunity to disseminate practice tested or developed as a result of different projects, such as the College Teaching Fund. Contributors are invited to publish their work through Conference Proceedings, which provides an additional opportunity to publicise the work being undertaken. In addition, the conference offers participants an opportunity to make contact with colleagues with whom to establish new research projects, to meet staff from other parts of the College and to find out more about the work of King’s Learning Institute.
