About us
Our research focuses on ways of understanding and developing the capabilities of all learners in higher education and professional settings, on the social and cultural context for learning and on the leadership of learning and teaching.
We welcome colleagues from within and beyond the College onto an extensive accredited programme in learning and teaching from a Certificate through to a full Master's award. We also offer a PhD by research.
The Institute also plays a key part in the development and delivery of the College's Learning and Teaching Strategy, offering advice and support to individuals and groups across the College. We seek to work collaboratively with colleagues in ways that fully reflect the diversity of disciplines.
