Summer accommodation
King's students
The College has a number of programmes with extended teaching dates which may not correspond with the standard 40 week period of residence.
Students may apply for extended accommodation in a King's residence or Moonraker Point for a period of up to 11 weeks (in accordance with teaching dates) during the summer vacation period (22 June - 07 September 2013).
Applications for summer extended accommodation can now be accepted. Please log-in to the My Accommodation Online Application Facility in order to submit your application.
Please note that residents should expect to move to another room or residence at the end of their standard 40 week Residence Agreement.
To see if you are eligible for summer extended accommodation, please check that your academic programme has non-standard teaching dates, which should be indicated here: 2012-13 Non Standard Teaching Dates (PDF, 590Kb).
Application deadline
The deadline for applications is 15 March 2013. Applications may be made after this date, although availability is limited.
How to apply
Applications for summer extended accommodation can now be accepted. Applications can be made online via the My Accommodation Online Application Facility. Before completing the application, please read the My Accommodation Entry 2012 (PDF, 2.02Mb) brochure carefully for information on the application procedure and allocations policy.
In order to access the online application, you will need to enter the username and password provided by your School Office at King’s. These login details are available via your My Page Student Records and can also be found on your academic offer letter from King's.
Accommodation for non-academic purposes
Students who wish to stay in a King's residence during the summer for non-academic purposes may book rooms at special rates through King's Venues.

During semester time, overnight accommodation for those attending interviews may be available at the following King’s residences (subject to availability):

Some of the University of London Intercollegiate Halls of Residence can offer accommodation to King's students during the summer vacation for academic or non academic purposes. Please contact them directly for further information including rates and availability.
