Money, Fees and Scholarships
Coming to the UK as an international student is a big financial commitment, and before you start on a programme of study at King’s you need to consider carefully your financial expenses and living costs. In addition, evidence that you can support yourself and any dependants is a condition of gaining entry clearance into the UK. See our Student Support pages for more information.
Tuition fees
For guidance on whether you are eligible to pay overseas or home/EU fees, please refer to the UKCISA website.
Please find details of the tuition fee rates for the current and forthcoming academic year for postgraduate students here.
Additional charges
Some students reading for postgraduate research degrees in science and engineering subjects may be charged a ‘bench fee’. This is a separate fee to cover the cost of consumables equipment used by students as part of their research. Further details about possible bench fees will be available from the relevant academic department.
Study Abroad & exchange students
Students interested in the Study Abroad programme or doing an exchange programme at King's should read the dedicated Study Abroad & Exchanges section for fee information.
Scholarships
King's offers a wide range of funding opportunities for postgraduate taught programmes and research degrees for EU and international students. Access our graduate funding database and search by nationality for full details of all funding opportunities available at King's, as well as general advice on other sources of funding that may help finance your graduate study.
We also recommend that you contact your local British Council office as they will be able to offer advice on other potential sources of funding. You will also find information on funding opportunities specific to your country on the Your country/region pages in this international section.
We strongly recommend that you apply for any funding opportunities as early as possible as many have early deadlines and competition is fierce.
