The Researcher Development Programme at King’s and Progress Educational Trust (PET) are pleased to provide an opportunity for Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences and Law research students interested in science communication and legal/ethical issues arising from scientific developments to gain practical news writing experience under expert supervision through a BioNews internship.

To apply please include details of your current KCL Department and Programme of Study, your reasons for wanting to take part in the scheme and any previous writing experience. Please also include a brief (max. 200 words) summary of your research, written for a non-specialist audience. A decision on selection for the internship will be made shortly after the deadline.
Research students interested in applying should send a one-page letter to director@progress.org.uk by the deadline of 5pm on Wednesday 11th April 2012 .
The intern training day will take place on Friday 20 April 2012
