Accommodation

 Stamford Street accommodation

Students can book Summer School accommodation with us in central London locations. 

If you wish to apply for accommodation then you should usually have received an offer of admission for the Summer School. Once you have received an offer of admission then please email us to apply for accommodation. Your room is secured upon payment of accommodation fees.

Pre-sessional English accommodation

Accommodation can be booked separately for Pre-sessional English. Pre-sessional English accommodation is in the centrally located Hughes Parry Hall which is part of University of London's intercollegiate halls. The rooms are individual rooms with shared/communal bathrooms, breakfast is included. Students will move King's accommodation before the start of their Summer School session starts.

Dates

If you choose to apply for King's accommodation then you will move into accommodation the Sunday immediately before your Summer School session starts and move out the Saturday after your session finishes. If you are attending both sessions then you are alloacted a room for the complete six week duration of your Summer School. The check-in time is usually 14:00 and check-out time is 10:00.

Please note that in periods of high demand the Summer School may offer alternative accommodation options to applicants. This accommodation may be King's College London accommodation, or options provided by external providers, for example housing through the University of London or private providers. These options may vary in terms of location and distance to the Summer School, as well as type of room, facilities and cost per night. 

Applications to the College for residential accommodation are applications for appropriate residential accommodation and not for a placement in any specific residential accommodation unless otherwise agreed in writing between the College Summer School office and the applicant.
