Campus & London life
Most Summer School courses take place on our Strand Campus; an historic site, originally opened in 1831. Some classes may take place at our Waterloo Campus, which is a short walk from The Strand.
The Strand overlooks the river Thames, midway between the Houses of Parliament and St Paul’s Cathedral, next door to Somerset House, almost opposite the Royal Courts of Justice. Within five minutes’ walk of the Strand are Covent Garden, many West End theatres, and Trafalgar Square, home to the National Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery.
