The Summer School

Summer School students at Trafalgar Square

Session one: 2 July – 20 July 2012

Session two: 23 July – 10 August 2012

The King’s College London Summer School is a high quality and intensive academic program open to students from around the world. We offer university-level summer courses which use a fresh approach to the study of traditional academic subjects.

The Summer School can be used to build on knowledge of an existing subject or to study something completely new.  Most courses do not require previous knowledge of the subject which provides the opportunity to study courses out of personal interest or to develop academic knowledge of a new subject.

Located in the very heart of London, accommodation and classes are next to many of the great cultural, social and entertainment attractions which London has to offer. We offer a lively social programme to complement the academic programme with events offered both on and off campus, helping students make the most of their time in one of the world’s most exciting student cities.

In addition to offering a unique academic and social experience, the King’s Summer School offers the opportunity to study at England’s fourth oldest university; a university with global recognition and a historic tradition of over 180 years of academic excellence.

“The whole experience is amazing. There’s so much to do and so much to see. I didn’t know what my experience would be like, and so everything has far exceeded what I could have imagined” Harley Joffe, University of California Los Angeles, USA,  Summer School 2011

"A very good kick-start to your career and professional life, loaded with fun and unforgettable memories" Rui Cavendish, Pontifica Universidade Catolica de Sao Paulo, Brazil, Summer School 2011
