Haberdashers Jeston Bursary
This is a limited fund which offers a number of bursaries to home status MBBS/BDS students in Years 3 or 4 of their course, or students in Year 1 of the Graduate/Professional Entry Programme in either Medicine or Dentistry.
What is the Haberdashers' Jeston Bursary?
This is a limited fund that has been allocated to provide help to students during the final year of their MBBS programme.
There are five bursaries available worth £1,000 each.
Am I eligible to apply?
Eligible applicants are:

Home students self-funding a degree in medicine or dentistry, having entered medicine or dentistry after a BSc, BA, MSc, PhD in another discipline;

Other graduate home students who have transferred as a direct entrant into year 3 of MBBS / BDS e.g. students from Oxbridge;

Home students who have completed an intercalated BSc between years 2 and 3 of the MBBS / BDS course or between clinical years 3 and 4;

Home students in year 1 of the Graduate/Professional Entry Programme in either Medicine or Dentistry.
How do I apply?
To apply, you should download the form, complete and return it to the Student Funding Office.
You will need to supply documentary evidence of your financial circumstances with your application. If these are not supplied, your application will not be considered.
When will I know the outcome of my application?
Provided your application form has been accurately completed and the appropriate documentary evidence supplied, you will be notified of the decision by the end of May 2012.
The deadline for applications is 6 April 2012.
