Teaching excellence

King's students experience a mix of innovative teaching styles that train students how to think, not what to think. King’s encourages an enriching and stimulating learning environment, where students work alongside world-class academics and other gifted and talented students.

The Quality Assurance Agency's 2009 Institutional Audit awarded King's the highest ranking, 'confidence', in the soundness of the management of academic standards and quality of learning opportunities.

The National Student Survey 2011 student satisfaction ratings were:

  • overall 84 per cent
  • teaching 87 per cent
  • learning resources 86 per cent.

In the WhatUni Student Awards 2011, King’s was in the top 10 UK universities for courses and lecturers, as voted by current students.
