King's Artists programme 2019-20

Programme overview

The call for King's Artists 2019/20 projects is now live.  Completed proposals for the first round of support should be submitted by Friday 29 March 2019. To apply, download and complete the  Expression of Interest form.

King’s Artists provides opportunities for artists to be resident within faculties across the university and aims to support residencies that place collaboration with students and staff across disciplines to embrace creativity and take risks, developing new thinking and creative outputs.

The programme will make up to six residency awards of £5,000 each for new appointments during the 2019/20 academic year, and then on an annual basis. Outcomes from these residencies will be showcased across King's College London during 2019/20 and beyond.

It is anticipated that the artists will be hosted within faculties, and that the award will cover freelance fees for the artist, with a percentage of the total contributing to departmental and production costs. Each faculty would provide managerial oversight, space, internal resource and collaborative input.
