Culture: A Year in Review is a collection of inspiring stories that demonstrate the ways in which partnerships with artists and cultural organisations are offering new opportunities to King’s College London’s students and academics while creating value across the arts and cultural sectors.

A year on from the launch of King’s Strategic Vision, these stories exemplify the distinctive role that arts and culture can play in delivering King’s ambitions in the years leading up to the university’s 200th anniversary.

Culture: A Year in Review offers a snapshot of the vast array of imaginative collaborations taking place, across all faculties: projects that use the lens of arts and culture to share the work of King’s academics with wider audiences (Melancolia – A Sebald Variation); to communicate healthcare issues (Pictorial Art in Sierra Leone); to bring new perspectives to sector challenges (Improving Places); or to engage local communities with King’s through permeable and pop up ‘hubs’ (BLOOD).
