What is the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES)?

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is run in partnershipbetween the university and the Higher Education Academy. The survey is additional to those that you might complete in your department, and will provide valuable information at a university level on what our taught postgraduate students think of their experience at King’s.

The survey is an online questionnaire and consists of a number of multiple choice questions. All data collected in the survey is held anonymously and securely. The survey results are not tracked back to identify anyone in any way, and all survey results will be presented in an aggregated and anonymised form.

The university fully supports the PTES, and students are strongly encouraged to complete it so that we can enhance the experience of being a King’s student. This is an important opportunity for students to reflect on their time at King’s and to let the university, and the academic staff who have taught them, know what their experience throughout their time at King’s has been like.

When is PTES?

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey 2018 will run between Monday 9 April and Friday 15 June 2018.

How can students enter PTES?

Students will receive an email with a unique link to the questionnaire on Monday 9 April. Simply click on the link and complete the online form. The survey is anonymous.

If you have any queries about the survey an FAQ can be found here.
