Kartik Rajpal

A bit about yourself...

From India but lived all around. Love good music, cold beer, anything on TV, Oxford commas, and Ultimate Frisbee.

What do you study at King’s?

Where did you Study Abroad?

Why did you choose to Study Abroad?

When given the chance to go explore a new culture, meet new people from all over the world, and study courses I ordinarily would never have had the chance to... I found it really hard not to study abroad.

Favourite travel destinations on your trip?

Camping overnight on the Great wall. Yes on it! The incredible views along the way almost made me forget the overnight rain, cramping legs, and ridiculously heavy backpack.

Lost in translation moment?

Too many to count. Turns out Mandarin and English do not have much in common.

What advice do you have to anyone interested in travelling abroad?

Though the thought of it might seem scary, when you actually get down it you rarely have time to worry. My advice is simple, go for it! The number of life altering experiences, far outweigh the negative ones. The odds are on your side.

Where would you like to travel to next?

Pakistan,Bhutan, and Tibet are on my list.
