We are putting a number of measures in place to keep students safe in our residences:

- Residents will be asked to book arrival slots to support safe distancing

- All bedrooms, bathrooms and shared kitchens will be cleaned and sanitised ready for your arrival

- Safe distancing will be encouraged in communal areas in line with UK Government guidance

- Across all areas of residences, we have an enhanced cleaning regime to ensure communal areas remain safe during your stay

- To minimise the risk of transfer of the virus a limited number of people will be able to use communal spaces

- One way systems have been introduced

- Residents in the flat you will be living in will be considered as a household unit and will be expected to follow UK Government guidelines for households

- Welfare Support activity will be provided at your halls of residence.

For those students unable to arrive in London for the start of term in September due to visa restrictions or health issues, we'd recommend contacting kingsresidences@kcl.ac.uk to discuss your specific circumstances.

If you have a contract for accommodation in a King's residence and are required to quarantine on arrival in the UK, you can arrive in residences from 13th September by adding an Early Arrival week to your booking.

All students in a King's residence who need to quarantine will be provided with the appropriate support such as assistance with food provision, deliveries brought to flats, Welfare support and Community facilitators available online to assist and you will still be able to access our online teaching and services.
