Visiting Academics & Policy Researchers

As part of its engagement, the ALC’s Practice of Leadership has been designed to bring policy practitioners, research professionals as well as senior academics to the ALC, both in Nairobi and at King’s College London, for a period of reflection and interaction with students, fellows, and researchers.

These engagements serve to provide lessons learning outputs which will benefit not only their own work, but will also be an avenue for important learning tools for ALC fellows and students. While at the ALC, these academics, practitioners and research professionals who are titled 'Visiting Fellows' are expected to give guest lectures and/or mentoring sessions as required. The Visiting Fellows are also expected to contribute to the ALC research agenda ‘Peace Society and the State in Africa’ through journal articles, proposal developments and broader research activities.

Our Visiting Academics and Policy researchers represent the ALC’s strategic engagement and partnerships with several institutions including; University of Buea, NEEM Foundation, Abuja, University of Pretoria and Not For Sale.
