Description

Work in Progress Day: MA in Eighteenth Century Studies – student presentations of dissertation projects gender and material culture

The Centre for Enlightenment Studies provides students at King’s the opportunity to present their research in a constructive critical environment. The centre is delighted to welcome Professor Karen Harvey from the University of Sheffield, who will join King’s tutors and British Museum curators (Frances Carey, Jill Cook, Brian Durrans and Ian Jenkins) in giving feedback on students’ work. Prof Harvey will also lead an author’s workshop, ‘From archive to article’, in which she will explore the relationship between primary research and scholarly argument.
