October is Black History Month (BHM), an annual celebration that recognises the contributions that Black communities have made to this country over many generations.
This year, to celebrate Black History Month 2020, the Faculty of Arts & Humanities will be releasing a series of educational videos throughout the month, on topics relating to Black history, from colonialisation and Africa's atlantic history to Afrofuturism and the abolition movement.
We hope these videos will encourage you to learn more about the history of Black communities around the world.
These videos were created by our brilliant academic staff and cover their current research projects and interests.
