Module availability list 2018/19
Level 4 modules are first year undergraduate, introductory level modules.
Language modules are normally open only to students of the Department, unless otherwise indicated.
The modules offered in each academic year are subject to change in line with staff availability and student demand so there is no guarantee every module listed here will run. Module descriptions and information may vary between years.
Module choices: new students will be asked to make their module choices before the beginning of term in September.
For students on the BA Liberal Arts programme, please consult your Student Handbook for the list of modules that you are eligible to request from this department.
Level 4 - 30 credit modules (running over both semester I and II)
Modern Language Centre
Students have the option of taking a 15-credit language module as part of your degree, which will be taught at the King’s Modern Language Centre (MLC).
If taken for credit, the 15-credit language module must be taken as part of your tariff of 120 credits and will count towards your overall degree result. The 15-credit language modules are taught over both semesters.

Modules for Liberal Arts, Study Abroad and external students
The modules below are offered exclusively to Liberal Arts, Study Abroad and other external students. These modules are not available to students in the Department of Classics (with the exception of BA Classical and Modern Greek Studies students, who may take 4AACHB01 Receptions of the Past).

**Indicates modules which may contribute towards the minimum 75 Credits of modules which relate at least in part to the Greek world since 1453, required by the BA Classical and Modern Greek Studies programme.
