A fantastic opportunity to hear internationally renowned contemporary poets for free.

Poetry And…Climate Change with David Harsent and Rachel McCarthy

David Harsent's latest collection, the TS Eliot Prize-winning Fire Songs, is an apocalyptic tumult of dark music with his masterful craft allied to a fierce vision of fire, ice and the danse macabre. Rachel McCarthy is a scientist and poet who has recently been chosen by the Poet Laureate as one to watch, marrying both fields of expertise to produce alert and engaged work.

There will be a questions and answers session at the end of the reading. Wine will be provided.
