Description

A series of free poetry readings in Gilbert Scott’s Gothic chapel at King's, highlighting the power of poetry to connect across boundaries and disciplines. Chaired and introduced by Ruth Padel, Poetry Fellow in the Department of English.

Poetry and Mapping with Jerry Brotton, Professor of Renaissance Studies at Queen Mary University of London, author of A History of the World in Twelve Maps, and prize-winning poet Kei Miller, author of A Cartographer Tries to Map a Way to Zion. The two will read poems and discuss poetry, geography and exploration.
