Supporting you & your studies

Sources of help

We hope that your time at King’s will be enjoyable and trouble-free. However, like most of us, you may run into occasional difficulties. Your personal tutor should always be your first port of call, but there are also plenty of other sources of help.

Don't keep things bottled up - there are plenty of sources of help and people willing to support you. No matter how small the issue, get in touch with one of the groups below and make sure you have the support you need.

Your Personal Tutor

Every student will be allocated a personal tutor when starting at King’s. Your personal tutor should be your go-to person for any problems or issues, as well as helping you think about your progress and future.

Your personal tutor should:

  • Be a responsible person in whom you can confide
  • Meet you each term in order to discuss your progress
  • Assist you in finding solutions to problems that you feel may affect your life at King’s
  • Recommend other services that may be better placed to assist you with a specific problem
