Undergraduate module choices for continuing students
The process opens to students on Student Records on Friday 9 March and
closes on Tuesday 3 April, 4pm.
Details on programme structures, criteria, Study Abroad weighting, how to choose external modules can be found on our KEATS page - students will be emailed the password.
TO NOTE: module selections for the next academic year (and unlike the module change process), does NOT work on a first-come, first-served basis (unlike the module change process) – we will allocate modules only past the deadline, once all selections have been submitted.

Module choice guidance
Hard copies are available from the Departmental Office (S8.05).
- Module Choice: BA History Year 2
- Module Choice: Combined Honours Year 2 (BA History & International Relations, BA French & History, BA German & History, BA War Studies & History)
- Module Choice: BA History Final Year
- Module Choice: BA French & History, BA German & History Final Year
- Module Choice: BA War Studies & History Final Year
Places on oversubscribed modules will be assigned on a random basis.
Students will be informed of the outcome of their module choices in May 2018

Requesting external modules: other departments, Faculty ('Opportunity modules'), modern language and intercollegiate
You will need to submit one online request form for each external module you wish to request. Please see our KEATS page for furter details.

Free Standing Long Essay (FSLE)
Students who choose an FSLE must also complete an application to write a free-standing long essay by the same deadline of Tuesday 3 April, 4pm.
The application form can be on the FSLE module description webpage and should be returned, completed and signed by the supervisor, to the Departmental Office (S8.05) or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org
Failure to complete and return the form by the deadline will results in the allocation of a different module choice.
Undergraduate students starting in September 2018
New undergraduate (BA) students are asked to indicate their modules choice during September 2018. Students will have the opportunity to amend their choices during induction week at the beginning of term. For a list of available modules please see the Level 4 module page.
Postgraduate module choices
New and returning postgraduate (MA) students will be contacted by email to make their module choices in August 2018, choosing from level 7 modules.
