This course is aimed at students who have studied Latin to GCSE level or beyond. One hour each week will be devoted to consolidating students’ knowledge of grammar and syntax. In the second hour, students will read and translate unadulterated Latin texts. We will mostly read medieval historical sources, but there will be scope to look at other types of material, in function of students’ interests.
Students are encouraged to take part in the annual medieval Latin play.
