Your degree programme
This section of the handbook sets out specific requirements for satisfactory completion of your studies. It is your responsibility, and yours alone, to meet those requirements as they are listed here or as they may be notified to you in the course of your studies. You should consult your tutor or the Head of Department if you have any queries concerning programme regulations and requirements.
Degree programmes at King’s permit considerable flexibility. The system enables you to match your studies to your individual interests and encourages you to work steadily at a series of modules throughout your undergraduate career. Students usually take a total of 120 credits in each year, which amounts to a total of 360 credits accumulated over the three yeras of your studies.
Final degree classification will be based on the marks achieved in all modules taken.
Changing your programme
If you do believe that the programme you are taking is not for you and that a change of degree programme would be best for you, this must first be discussed with your tutor (or tutors, if a combination of subjects is involved), since tutorial permission is required. Further guidance is available on the Registry Services webpages. Permission to change will only be granted for strong academic reasons.
