The passing of our longest monarch (the late Queen Elizabeth II) and the accession of Charles III and accompanying royal proclamations.

Decolonising Philosophy at King's

Principal investigators: Naomi Snow.

A project aiming to decolonise the Philosophy Department. Started with an analysis of philosophy modules, identifying those that are Eurocentrically focused.

Digital Intimacies

Principal investigators: Jamie Hakim.

Digital Intimacies examines how gay & bisexual men negotiate their cultures of intimacy, away from hook-up applications and on to ‘intermedial’ smartphone use.

Engaged Research-led Teaching

Principal investigators: Dr Jonathan Gray, Liliana Bounegru.

This project explores how researchers, students & external organisations might work as co-inquirers, taking into account varied perspectives, needs & concerns.

GTA Enhancing Education Fund

Principal investigators: Kirsty Warner.

This AHRI project gives PRGs who have teaching experience (past or present GTA) the chance to design a course or skill-specific engagement activity for students

Interactive Discourse Analysis Workshops

Principal investigators: Lauren Cantillon, Taylor Annabell.

The project provides MA students in the CMCI department with an opportunity to gain experience of data analysis within a collaborative, informal environment.

Obsidian Foundation Writers' Retreat

Principal investigators: Nick Makoha, Theresa Lola, Tobi Kyeremateng.

Obsidian is a new foundation and retreat for Black poets.

On Apprehension

Principal investigators: Timothy Huzar.

Cultural competency research - exploring philosophical issues around how we come to know who another person is, as opposed to what they are.
