Arts & Humanities Postgraduate Student Events
The first ever Arts & Humanities Postgraduate Student Conference will take place on May 20 alongside an associated workshop series. The events are open to postgraduate students from all departments in the School.
'Union': Papers in Progress Workshop Series
This inspiring Papers in Progress Workshop Series is linked to May’s inaugural Arts & Humanities Postgraduate Student Conference. Our four workshops will explore the concept of ‘Union’ in sub-themes, with the aim of attracting postgraduate students from across the Departments and launching cross-disciplinary debates. Papers will be circulated in advance of the workshops, where they will be briefly summarised and then discussed by the group. This is an invaluable opportunity for students to get feedback from their peers in a friendly and informal setting on papers that they may be preparing to give elsewhere, or simply to find out more about the work of other research students in the School.

'Union': A School of Arts & Humanities Postgraduate Student Conference
Tuesday 20 May, 9.00 - 18.00
Room K2.31, King's Building, Strand Campus
Join us for the first ever Arts & Humanities Postgraduate Student Conference at King’s, run by postgraduates for postgraduates. The theme of this year’s conference will be ‘Union’. We hope to explore the ways in which 'union' can be interpreted, and to spark debate among those who wish to reach beyond the traditional parameters of their discipline and Department. 'Union' is therefore not only the theme of the conference, but also the driving force behind it. Attendance is free but places must be booked in advance. We hope to see you there!
