For modules taught from September 2015:
Final module marks are recommneded by the relevant Assessment Sub Board and then formally ratified by the Faculty Assessment Board. Prior to the Faculty Assessment Board, all indicative marks given are provisional.
Marks are then released by Registry Services (formerly ARC) via Student Records. From September 2015, for all modules taught in the Faculty of Arts & Humanities, students will receive a breakdown of marks for each element of assessment (as shown in the module description) and an overall module mark.
This follows a successful pilot in 2014/15 where elements of assessment were released for a selection of modules in the Faculty.
Further information about results release is available on the Registry Services intranet pages:
Students taking modules in another Faculty as part of their programme of study should contact the relevant department where the module is taught for more information about module mark confirmation and release.
For modules taught prior to September 2015:
Students receive an overall module mark and not a breakdown of marks for each element of assessment.
