National University of Singapore
The National University of Singapore has been increasingly popular amongst undergraduate students who want to spend a semester in Asia.
The National University of Singapore has one of the strongest faculties of arts and humanities in Asia, and the Faculty of Arts & Humanities at King’s College London has developed a number of dual PhD degrees with the university.
Students in the Departments of Philosophy and English can register on the dual PhD programme, and can spend up to half of their studies in Singapore, ultimately earning a degree from both universities.
The Faculty of Arts & Humanities has particularly strong links through Philosophy, English, History and Religious Studies. Over the past few years academics and graduate students from King’s and NUS have attended workshops in Performance on both campuses.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer an opportunity for postgraduate research students to study jointly with the National University of Singapore, a leading institution in the fields of theatre and performance studies and a key player in East Asia. Students benefit not only from unrivalled locations but a wealth of staff expertise in performance research and unique insight into global cross-currents.”
