Using the principles of design thinking that shape product and service innovation in organisations and industries around the world, the 48Hr StartUp bootcamp weekend will show you how it’s possible to go from problem to solution, fast.
With no previous experience of coding, business or entrepreneurship necessary, students can compete for prizes, learning new skills and structured processes and building a real-life product along the way.
You’ll also learn how you can apply these techniques to your own career path. The aim is to encourage a bias to towards action and curiosity: a fundamental mindset that will serve you well in any career.
Led by start-up experts, our students spend two days working in teams to develop and test new ideas.
Students are placed into small teams and, choosing from a list of possible consumer problems to address work through the key phases of getting a start-up off the ground:
