Personalised Assessment Arrangements (PAA)

How to apply

The purpose of Personalised Assessment Arrangements (PAA) is to provide an environment that gives all students an equal opportunity for assessment.

All PAA applications require specific supporting evidence and there are strict deadlines for each examination period.

Complete PAA-1 applications (form and supporting evidence) must be submitted by the appropriate deadline.

 Examination Period Application Deadline
 Period 1:    5 January - 11 January 2018  Friday 3 November 2017
 Period 2:    30 April - 1 June 2018  Friday 23 February 2018
 Period 3:    6 August - 17 August 2018  Friday 13 July 2018

These deadlines do not apply to Alternative Venue arrangements. Please visit the Alternative Venue Arrangements webpage for deadlines.

Applications received after the deadline will be held on file until the following examination period. 

Deadline for exams/assessments held outside of the main Examination Periods

If the first exam/assessment for which you require assessment arrangements is outside of the main Examination Periods, then you must submit your completed application at least 3 weeks prior to the date of your exam

Exceptions to deadlines

Exceptions will NOT be made to any of these deadlines, except in the case of applications in regards to medical conditions where the accidental injury or acute illness is incurred after the prescribed deadline.

In these instances we cannot guarantee arrangements and applications will be considered only if possible and appropriate.
