Who are we looking for?
The Examinations Office employs invigilators to support the examination process throughout the year. Examinations can be organised by our office as well as by other departments within the university. Please note that our main examination periods are in January, May/June and August and we require a large number of invigilators during these periods. Can current KCL students apply?
We are looking for enthusiastic people who can demonstrate common sense, accuracy, attention to detail, and are willing to provide the best examination experience possible for students. You must be reliable, punctual, have a flexible attitude to work and possess good communication skills.
Duties include setting up examination rooms, checking attendance, observing, collecting scripts, and liaising with candidates and examination staff to resolve queries.

What is the rate of pay?
This job is not open to undergraduate students, however, postgraduate students are encouraged to apply.
Please note that any postgraduate students who are due to sit an examination during the main examination periods (January, May/June and August) will be permitted to invigilate only after they have sat any scheduled examinations.
When should I apply?
The rate of pay is £10.55 per hour, with an additional £1.27 holiday pay per hour. Please note that any breaks (including lunch breaks) will not be paid.
How do I apply?
Our next recruitment period will be in February 2020, so if you are interested in invigilating at King's College London, please submit your application to us between 1 November 2019 and 31 January 2020.

Step 4. Short-listed applicants will be contacted by 14 February 2020. They will be invited to attend a training session after which the final selection will be made. Please note that this training session is part of the recruitment process and you will therefore not be compensated for your time.
