Learning & Teaching Space Improvement Programme

Learning & Teaching Space Improvement Programme

Welcome to the Learning and Teaching Space Improvement Programme.

Since 2009, we’ve been transforming teaching rooms, lecture halls, IT services, catering facilities and library space across all campuses to create dynamic and flexible spaces where students can learn and study and world-class teaching environments for staff.

Over the past three years, the College has invested some
  • £60m in improving student facilities and
  • there are further investments of £140m planned for the next few years.
The Learning & Teaching Space Improvement programme, chaired by Vice Principal Professor Eeva Leinonen, currently oversees projects totalling £20m.

The College is currently finalising plans to invest a further £20m over the next few years to enable the Board to continue delivering innovative and technology-rich spaces that meet student requirements.

Some of the fantastic results of the programme can now be seen throughout the College.
