King's Experience Awards

King's Experience Awards

What is an Award?

You can earn a King’s Experience Award through reflecting on any learning undertaken outside the formal curriculum.

We run different Award modules which help to focus your knowledge and skills development in specific areas.

Some Awards are self-directed modules - you will engage independently in an experiential learning activity and then reflect on it.

Other Awards are seminar or lecture-based - you will attend classes and engage with specific course materials

What do I need to do?

    • Focus on completing an Award that will complement your studies and boost your skills.
    • Engage in the Award activities (volunteering, study abroad, seminar participation etc.)
    • Complete an assessment, reflecting on your learning journey
    • Celebrate your achievements at our annual Awards Ceremony

What will I get out of it?

Completing Awards are an excellent boost for your CV and employability skills. They promote gaining knowledge, enhancing your attributes, developing skills and acquiring experience.

This gives you the opportunity to explore new ideas and broaden your experience at King’s.

What do I get when I finish the Award?

These modules are non-credit bearing. Successful completion of the Awards will feature on your Higher Education Achievement Record (HEAR). We will celebrate your achievement at the annual Awards Ceremony.
